Baltic Restaurant & Bar London Description

Baltic, on the corner of The Cut and Blackfriars Road is Jan (Wodka & Chez Kristof) Woroniecki's second London place. A sleek modernist entrance with cosy alcoves, muted colour banquettes & an amber wall can hold 150 plus standing. The Amber Bar leads to a large altrium roofed dining room ahead.

The Restaurant of 100 plus covers specialises in Eastern European cuisine, with exposed beams, 40ft wooden trussed ceilings and a high vaulted roof of glass. A Private Dining Room overlooks the Restaurant and is available for lunch, dinner, corporate bookings, screenings & private parties.

Every Sunday Baltic presents live Jazz from 7-10pm. Dinner is served throughout.

Polish & Russian Vodkas make up the Bar list (35 flavours) including some excellent cocktails & fine infusions. The wines start from £12.50

I was very disappointed!! I am a baltic russian girl, and I knew what to expect from classic baltic cuisine! Was very disappointed with beetroot soup!!! I have no idea where they got their recipes, but that soup was an absolute disgrace!! They shouldn't cook 'Their Variations' and stick to classic recipe.”

Excellent service from charming staff, Sunday is especially good at Baltic with piano accompaniment. I just love root vegetables, don't forget to ask for the beetroot ice cream.”

I would can not praise this place highly enough. It does wonderful food and the bar, although it can get rather full, has a great selection of vodka. Good cocktails too. I think it was recently nominated by Time Out as one of the best new places in London.”
