Beduin is Smithfield’s latest late night Bar/Club/Restaurant catering for those late night party people out for a good time. With a stylish décor comprising of all the traditions of a Moroccan Souk, Beduin genuinely feels like no other bar.

The three-floor bar features a friendly balcony, an intimate alcove section and a lively buzzing dance floor. A varied assortment of food from a light snack to a full platter and a wide array of cocktails.
An upbeat music policy equaled with an unrivalled sound system leads to an enviable reputation and a passionate following. Whether it is afro beat, US house or nu-jazz, Beduin’s guest and resident DJs regularly create storming sets for those on the dance floor.
Beduin can meet demands of events such as birthdays, private hires and corporate parties, with the providence of a first class service. Champagne or cocktail reception, waiting and bar service, buffet option, security and cab service.

“There was 8 of us ladies, mixed ages from 19-late 40's and we had the best time! Good performance from bar staff, general Staff were really friendly. Drinks at a typical London price but worth the money as they don't hold back! Good atmosphere if your feeling the party vibe, plenty of dance floor space once they open the second room or if you'd prefer a calm relaxed evening the bar area is ideal for that. Overall it's a great venue! If your looking for a fun night out with the girls then I would definitely recommend Beduin Bar.”

“We've been holding my hen party at Beduin last week and had a amazing time. The bouncers were very polite, fantastic crowd and we've received excellent service. Mostly we've enjoyed the music, the DJs know how to entertain the crowd.”

“I've been celebrating my birthday with a group of friends in Beduin last weekend and all of us had a great time!! We received the best service ever, tasted the most delicious cocktails and really enjoyed the music. “We past by this venue last thursday looking for a late night drink and what a find it was, greeted by a very polite doorman as we made out way into the bar we were met by the typical office after party crew all having a great time, looking downstairs there was a mash of people having a boogie to the funky mix of pop and disco cheese stuff being played by the dj who was quite a giggle after we spoke to him and requested a few tunes that he played very quickly for us keeping us happy, the whole experience was excellent, so we would like to thank the Jay DJ for the tunes and hope you make your way to this bar, its a fantastic fun place.”

“I went to Beduin with my husband last Thursday after reading so many positive review about the place. I was very surprised to be greeted by appalling service. Not only did the staff not speak a word on English but even the Manager was very rude when we tried to explain to him that the food we got was cold and that the waitress refused to heat it up whether that was because she didn't understand what we were asking for or because she simply wasn't bothered. Overall, we had a very bad experience. Food and service appalling.”

“I went to beduin on a Friday night to celebrate my sister's birthday. The service was appalling. Not only did the bouncer at the door make us each pay £5 every time we went out for a cigarette but he was also shouting at us every time we complained about the extra charge. Even the Manager was abusive and told us that if we didn't want to pay each time we went outside we can get lost. We spent over £1500 that night on drinks and food and to be asked to pay £5 every time we stepped outside was not only appalling but shocking! My advise: never step into this bar.”

“I went to Beduin yesterday to catch up with a friend we were having a great evening-until we got served. The waitress could not speak English, she served us the wrong food and we had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks. The whole point of tapa is to enjoy little bites at the same time! I'm actually quite annoyed that I even have to rate this place! When asked to speak to the (so-called) manager, who was also as rude and as incompetent as his staff we were met with verbal abuse. Beduin- Bedu-don't!”

“This bar is fab! I had my 30th birthday party here two weeks ago. Fantastic cocktails, DJ's, and crowd. The waitress that we had at the table all night was really sweet and soooo helpful! Top place... worth checking out at the weekend.”

“I had my 30th Birthday here on Sat 1st April 2006. Reserved an area downstairs next to the DJ booth and had a fantastic night. Only complaint was they ran out of house champagne and the next two bottles up from that! But we came to a compromise in the end. By the way, if anyone was there the same night and picked up a green jacket by accident please get in touch! Thanks”

“Be very careful of this place. It looks great but the management don't appear to care about the customers. Be careful of the upstairs tables, they are basically trays resting on flimsy supports. We lost a £50 bucket of beer almost as soon as it had been left on the table after someone put their elbows on it. The waitress acknowledged the table was not built properly and promptly rebuilt it, but the manager would not except any responsibility and said that you shoudn't lean on the table.”

“I just love this bar. Great atmosphere, excellent music and nice people around. But!! I always get drinks on my bill that I have never ordered. So, keep a rough record of drinks while you're there and try to pay by cash rather than by card. This last advice comes in for the simple reason that they swipe the card before showing you the bill.”

“this is a lovely venue but the service and staff attitude ruins the atmosphere. the staff seemed incredulous that I had booked for 10 but (horror of all horrors) there were actually 11 of us due to an extra person turning up. we were made to move downstairs to a far inferior table. we were also told off for the heinous crimes of putting a few bags/coats on our seating and moving a spare stool from another table. What made it worse was the hard sell of drinks all night, with waitresses appearing at your elbow when you''d barely sipped from a drink and the tequila girl piling the pressure on to buy shots. I think this is a disgrace considering my friends and I were happily spending £25+ per head - it feels like you are having money wrung out of you.”

“Dont rely on bookings here being kept, and make sure you check all bills as we got charged for drinks we never had. We booked for 5 and were given a table for 2, and told that was all they had left. They then charged us for drinks we didnt have, and took 30 minutes to sort the bill out. They also refuse to take off service charge if you pay by switch, saying its already gone through the system and they cant reduce it. So check all bills and say early on if you are not happy to pay for the poor service!”

“This bar looks good but rips you off. They charge 12.5% service charge on all drinks ordered, even when ordered at the bar. They don't tell you this, this just ask for the total due but if you look on the bar menu it says in small type that this an optional service charge, but who reads the menu when ordering bottles of beer. Don't expect to get served again if you exercise your right not to pay it. You will pay the same price for a lovely waitress to take your order and bring your drinks to the table which is obviously better than giving it to the arrogant bar man who thinks he deserves it just for taking the top off a bottle of beer, which already costs £3.40 before the additonal 12.5% is added.”

“Beautiful, beautiful. Attention to detail second to none gives this moorish venue a pretty special vibe. Hot and very grown up music, 'buy me another' cocktails, sexy staff, mirror mosaics, the sultry glow of redness and oooo, the chandalier hanging over it all impresses me. Perfect for parties (upstairs on the balcony), charming for chilling (squishy and usefully laid out seating on the ground floor) and dapper for dancing (downstairs near the DJ). The damn place even does good food - anything else sir? Perhaps a few camels? If you haven't been yet, why not?”
