“Excellent food, friendly staff who seem to be happy to help in any way they can. I went there on a Saturday night with a group of 11 people. Although the place was booked up I spoke to the bar staff who arranged a table for me very quickly. The drink prices were cheap, music was great and the venue beats the other Ealing pubs for decor and comfort. I would definitely advise anyone to go here...”

“What a dive. Aggressive bouncers. One couldn't speak English very well so just said the same thing louder and more frustrated/angry 'cause we didn't undesrtand. People in there were full of attitude barging over you to get served by bar staff too busy dancing instead of serving. Avoid at all costs! It's the waste product of the town house and the priory pre-party!”

“We brought the in-laws and our 2-1/2 year old daughter to the Family Fun Day today. It was brilliant. The bouncy castle, face painting, and the carvery were wonderful. The service behind the carvery was lovely and helpful. You would never know a nightclub/bar-type place would hold such a day but it definitely was a hit in my books. Very cool ambience. I hope they hold more days like this and open themselves to a new league of customers during the daytime. Well done.”

“2 of us had booked a birthday party and paid a deposit for the upper floor. We had approx 65-85 guest due to attend. A week earlier we got a call explaining that the directors’ friend wants the top section so we have to move downstairs. I agreed, as I was told that we would still have adequate seating and that some champagne will be ‘sorted out’. Suffice to say, that on the night 40% of our guest were standing, spent most of the evening trying to organise seating (moving chairs and tables) for my guests. The champagne bottles turned into 2 bottles of house wine. When I finally started enjoying the evening, 3 friends and I stood in queue to go outside to smoke for 40mins. The bouncer let in (counted) 36 people in and nobody out, by then there was a queue forming behind us. When we did get out, I had barely lit my cigarette and was told to hurry up as there are other people waiting. In general, not a bad place if you’re a non-smoker and expecting less than a party of 10. Then again you could always just go to O’Neills, just around the corner. May not look as nice, but guaranteed a good laugh, throughout the evening.”

“We had lunch at Flava's today (took our 17 month old). It was fairly quiet & felt nice & spacious; a good place for the baby - he wanted a nose around & didn't get in peoples' way! The food was fine and service excellent; our waiter was Phil. We'll definitely be going back. Apparently there's a family fun day next weekend. Shame most of the staff knew nothing about it / there's no advertising.”

“Visited this establishment.... on 6th Aug 08, during a lunch break, it took 1 hour for the wrong starters to come out and one hour for our drinks to arrive. It was a birthday celebration for one of my colleagues and to be honest it was embarrassing. The staff could not understand English and the management tried to resolve issue however we still only had 3 starters for 9 people in one hour. I personally have never walked out of a restaurant however we paid for the food and drinks received and walked out. I will never go again and strongly recommend that you have plenty of time ahead of you if you order lunch at this place as it will probably arrive in time for dinner”
