“It always makes me laugh when the people who own these bars or manage them write reviews about the place. This is a classic example - do not believe these reviews. The bar has officially got the worst food of any bar in Wimbledon - honestly it makes Weatherspoons look like The Ivy. I ordered a chiken and mushroom dish that took 50 minutes to arrive - with no mushrooms and a bacon rasher cremated on top. When I complained as I don't eat pork - I din't even get an apology - just my money back and a grunt. The bar staff are employed for their looks rather than their command of English or numeracy - which makes every visit to the bar incredibly slow especially at the weekend. I had the pleasure of being served 4 B52's in a tumbler with everything mixed together - I was spechless. As for the crowd it attracts - yes if you are over 25 and have no style or personality, shop in River Island and think Posh and Becks are the epitomy of British elegance - you will love the place. It was more enjoyable when it was a branch of Curry's about 5 years ago. Avoid.”

“Huge bar that gets going at the weekend with a mixed crowd, trendy 25 plus. Good place to mingle if its busy. Long bar and table service available. Also good place to meet early evening, comfy sofa's and lots of seating, something for everyone on the menu which is fairly simple but allows quick service. Friendly staff and clean, tidy venue. Don't sit in the booths with tv screens if you are on a date, especially if they are showing football or the soaps!!!!”

“Since the new management took over here it has become a lively, classy venue in Wimbledon. With a new - very reasonable - menu and good selection of wines, it is well worth a visit. The clientele are a bit older (Over 21) so the atmosphere is friendly. To add to the diversity, there is now live jazz on a sunday evening. Melt away into the coucjes and enjoy table service till 12am. The best bar in Wimbledon”

“If you've ever wondered where the beautiful people drink then look no further. As long as you leave your trainers at home after 6pm you will be able to see for yourself. The interior design in 'The' is worth sampling alone, simple yet glamourous with a gorgeous white leather sofa section in the middle of the room. The modern Italian menu boasts the best goats cheese and mediteranean vegetable bread in the area...”

“Woah-don't know what the other two are on about, but this place sums up whats happening in Wimbledon, lots of banal bars losing all the character of one of south London's most famous towns. The drinks are overpriced considering it is impossible to get served a pint that isn't flat, and the place looks like Ikea. In fact I would rather go to Ikea, their meatballs taste much better.”

“I had my 30th birthday here, you can hire out the central section which makes you feel right in the heart of everything, yet still your own party. Great food, good selection of wines etc... have now booked my husbands 30th there too. ”

“Fantastic ambience with contemporary styling, friendly staff and excellent music (usually Chillout and House). Sundays are also a treat with a decent selection of Hip Hop and Dancehall Reggae from around 7 - 11pm. I went last week and had an exceptionally enjoyable Sunday evening. Great way to end the weekend.”

Loved

"There is now Bachata classes at 7.30pm followed by Salsa classes at 8.30pm every Friday at Havana Fulham! It's a great idea so many of us really want to learn Bachata too. It's well organised, great..." Which venue is this?

"The bar has gone down the toilet, just like Beautiful South Africa. The French bar staff were half drunk, rude and totally oblivious that it was a theme bar. When I asked for a packet of biltong, the..." Which venue is this?
