“The best thing about this pub (besides the warm atmosphere and the colorful regulars) is Paul, the manager. He's one of those genuine people that one meets once or twice in a lifetime, and his welcoming attitude and delightful sense of humour made our evening at the Zetland Arms a rare treat! Oh, and the wild mushroom and stilton tart is not to miss.”

“This is an honest pub serving honest food and beer. Gets a little bit wanky at the end of the week but most of the time is one of the few pubs in the area staying true to its locals.”

“My friends and I visited this pub for lunch. The food was unappealing which we complained about & refused to eat. The bar staff agreed to give us a refund for the uneaten food but the manager of the premises disagreed with the refund. He was aggressive and rude, and totally unprofessional and should not work in the service industry. He later called the police to evict us from the pub. A very unpleasant experience.”

“Appallingly slow service last night and a rude, confrontational and threatening attitude from the staff when I dared to complain. I was refused access to a manager. We left and went to the Hoop and Toy around the corner where the experience was totally different. Fast service and friendly staff. I am sending a written complaint.
