Vinoteca London Description

Opened in September 2005, Vinoteca has built a reputation as one of London’s most exciting Wine Bars and Shops, renowned for offering an exceptional range of wines from around the world at great value prices. The award-winning Wine Bar serves over 25 wines by the glass, changing every week, and over 275 wines by the bottle. The seasonal menu changes daily and provides the best of British & European cooking. All of the wines are available to take home from their Wine Shop, listed at competitive retail prices, and delivery both inside and outside of London is available.

Vinoteca's comfortable interior with its oak furniture and wine filled shelves creates a genuinely friendly, relaxed and bustling atmosphere. Customers are able to choose from a list of around 25 different wines by the glass which changes on a weekly basis, and covers a wide range of styles. Prices start at £2.95 for a 175ml glass and all the food is matched to one of their wines by the glass.

Vinoteca is passionate about serving high quality, fresh food in a comfortable, informal environment. All the food is prepared in the open plan kitchen and the menu changes daily in order to make the most of seasonal produce. Inspired equally by British and European cooking, dishes are created which perfectly complement their diverse range of wine styles. Bread is baked freshly on the premises twice a day. The chefs buy meat directly from local Smithfield Market, source high quality sustainable fresh fish and seafood from first-class suppliers and use only seasonal fruit and vegetables. They also import a range of cured meats from Jabugo in southwest Spain, including the delicious and unique ham from acorn-fed Pata Negra. .

Food is served from 12pm to 2.45 pm and 6.30 to 10.00pm. Bookings are taken for lunchtimes only.

Vinoteca has also recently opened a Private Dining Room, featuring its own open kitchen and wine cellar. The room, with its comfortable, stylish and relaxed feel is ideal for all kinds of events and wine tastings.

"There is now Bachata classes at 7.30pm followed by Salsa classes at 8.30pm every Friday at Havana Fulham! It's a great idea so many of us really want to learn Bachata too. It's well organised, great..." Which venue is this?

"The bar has gone down the toilet, just like Beautiful South Africa. The French bar staff were half drunk, rude and totally oblivious that it was a theme bar. When I asked for a packet of biltong, the..." Which venue is this?
