William IV London Review
The mock-Tudor frontage is deceptively local boozer like, but on the inside, the William tells an entirely different story. A well-scrubbed, oak-furnished interior with plenty of seating and fairy-light adornments plays host to the music, media, marketing set from local Ladbroke Grove and Queen's Park.
The music is in the background and the drinks list is unimaginative, but it's down-to-earth fun that is top of the agenda. The slightly dodgy, out-of-the-way location gives William IV the cool, urban appeal that the 'creative' types are constantly seeking, though the 11 o'clock licence is a bit of a disappointment. More beer than Bellini, but worth the walk nevertheless.

William IV London Description
The William IV is a big rambling gastro bar encompassing five distinct areas.
The main bar is bright and open which plays host to a variety of renowned resident DJs on Friday and Saturday nights to liven up your evening. During the rest of the week you can lounge and enjoy the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere in the leather sofa area. In summer you can spread out and watch the world go by outside either at the front of the bar or in the garden at the back. There is also a snug bar with larger tables for those of you who want to eat but still be close the main bar.
The restaurant is located at the back, a more private area, just off the snug bar. You can forget about the bustle of London and relax here. It is a cool and stylish space that extends out onto a spacious, planted terrace for outdoor eating when the weather permits. As with all areas of the William IV it is a unique space of simple, clean design and features mosaics designed by Sarah Horrillo.
The Spanish tapas menu is as comprehensive and as adventurous as you would find in Spain. It is good value and the portions are generous. The tapas menu is perfectly matched by an informative and enticing wine list and if requested a cocktail list.
Customer Reviews for William IV

“I've lived in the Kensal Green area since the late 80s, well before this local re-opened as the pub/restaurant it is now, and it was a very welcome addition and change to what was on offer in the area.
Aside from the weekday menu which is mainly tapas, they also serve a great traditional Sunday lunch which is brilliant as it saves me having to cook when my parents visit!
Other local places have fancier menus, more extensive drinks selections and are in more obvious settings for the type of place this venue is, but for quality of food and drink, friendliness and efficiency of service, atmosphere, aesthetics, value for money and general fun factor, William IV is hard to beat.”

“Great bar. I live pretty local, so i have enjoyed a relaxed pint and some grub here on a weekday night, and I have also partied hard here at the weekend.
Friday nights now have a happy hour until 8pm, so last time i was there I got well and truly sloshed and it didnt even cost much! The music is wicked, the crowd is fit and funky, and I reckon this is one of the best bars in West London.”

“Quality place for a night out! I was at William IV last weekend and the place was rocking. The dj (some fit blond) had the place bumping and grinding and there was plenty of eye candy to keep the lads occupied!
Service was great - one of the bartenders was educating me on the merits of their extensive tequila selection.
Highly recommended.”
